aw, crap, dude, I won Oasis Lyle
Lyle, the burnout tiger from Achewood.
yotsuba and pumpkins Yotsuba
Yotsuba! I've been enjoying this manga as much as Azumanga Daioh, for the same reasons--really nails slice of life childhood humor, almost Peanuts-like and elegant.
battousai Himura Kenshin

negative space Shounen Bat
Shounen Bat of Paranoia Agent fame. I love Satoshi Kon.

I wasn't terribly taken with Howl's Moving Castle, but an enchanted fire makes an awful lot of sense as a pumpkin subject. Lots of Dremel work here to remove different layers of skin and get different shades of the fire. I'm not especially satisfied with how it came out, though.

2005's porch lineup.
